Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope you all had a wonderful and refreshing summer. I am thrilled to welcome you back as I begin my second year as the principal of Ridgeview/Maybell Elementary. It is truly an honor to continue working with our exceptional community of educators, parents, and students. I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for our children.

This summer, the district has provided Ridgeview with some exciting upgrades. The exterior of the building received new fascia and soffits, the south entrance has been paved, and the loading dock has been repaired. Additionally, we are installing a much-needed fence around the playground to ensure the safety of our students.

As we embark on this new academic year, our dedicated staff has been working tirelessly to prepare engaging and enriching learning experiences for your children. We are committed to fostering an environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported in their educational journey.

Playground and Kiss and Go reminders!

Just a reminder for the Kiss and Go. It would help if your child was on the curb side (closest to the school) in your vehicle. Please pull as far forward as possible, pause, say goodbye to your child and keep moving!! Please don't park as that interrupts the flow of the drop off and creates a dangerous situation. Also, please don't leave your child on the playground until 7:45 a.m. as there is not a duty to watch them. If the red flag is out in front of the doors, remind your child to come in and go to the gym. Of course, if your child is eating breakfast, the front door is open at 7:30 for them to head to the cafeteria. Thanks for helping us keep all of our kids safe!!
