Crystal Miller

Dear Parents and Guardians

I hope this letter finds you well. I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Principal of Ridgeview/Maybell Elementary. It is an honor to continue to work with this incredible community of educators, parents, and students, and I am excited about the opportunity to work together in fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for our children.

I bring with me 23 years of experience in education, with a strong background in Elementary Special Education. Throughout my career, I have been committed to promoting academic excellence, fostering a culture of inclusivity, and supporting the social-emotional growth of students. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators to create an enriching educational experience that prepares our children for a bright future.

At Ridgeview/Maybell, our priority is to provide a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. I value open lines of communication and partnership, and I encourage your active involvement in your child's education. Together, we can ensure a holistic approach to their growth and development, encompassing both academic achievements and social-emotional well-being.

As Principal, my vision is to provide a safe and nurturing space where students are inspired to become lifelong learners. We will continue to offer extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that cater to the diverse interests and talents of our students. I believe in nurturing their individual passions and encouraging them to explore new opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas. My door is always open, and I welcome any feedback that will help us improve and grow as a school community. I firmly believe that by working collaboratively, we can provide the best possible education for our children.

I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the opportunity to serve as your Elementary Principal. Together, we will continue to foster a love for learning and create a nurturing environment where our children can flourish. Thank you for entrusting your child's education to us. I am confident that, together, we will make this a remarkable and memorable academic year.

Warmest regards,

Crystal Miller

Principal

Playground and Kiss and Go reminders!

Just a reminder for the Kiss and Go. It would help if your child was on the curb side (closest to the school) in your vehicle. Please pull as far forward as possible, pause, say goodbye to your child and keep moving!! Please don't park as that interrupts the flow of the drop off and creates a dangerous situation. Also, please don't leave your child on the playground until 7:45 a.m. as there is not a duty to watch them. If the red flag is out in front of the doors, remind your child to come in and go to the gym. Of course, if your child is eating breakfast, the front door is open at 7:30 for them to head to the cafeteria. Thanks for helping us keep all of our kids safe!!
